Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job Responsibilities

• Install and repair ductwork and other sheet metal components in commercial and
  industrial settings.
• Operate hand and power tools to cut, bend, and form sheet metal materials and shape
  duct.
• Inspect completed work to ensure precision, quality, and compliance with project
  standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine
  project requirements.
• Adhere to safety regulations and building codes to maintain a secure work environment.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes.
• Ability to effectively operate sheet metal machinery and tools.
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Preferred

• Certification in sheet metal fabrication or a related field.
• Experience with HVAC systems installation.
